As an LPN or RN, you are expected to provide quality care and the best nursing practices for our certified nursing assistants and residents. All RN Registered Nurses and LPN Licensed Practical Nurses are expected to provide high quality care to all residents on their service. To be successful in this field, you must have patience as you assist the residents and/or people on your services. Here at Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we offer services such as: speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and dementia/Alzheimer’s care. As an RN Registered Nurse or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse you will: Provide direct patient care ensure residents receive outstanding care
- Oversight of CNAs Complete required documentation accurately and timely Represent Brandon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in a positive manner
Physical Setting:
Long term care Nursing home Rehabilitation center Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state Must be restorative certified by an accredited school or recognized accrediting agency. Must possess current CPR certification or become certified within two weeks of employment. Must be able to communicate effectively, and report daily reports to the Executive Director at each stand-up meeting. Benefits

- Overtime Pay Physical Requirements of an RN or LPN Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Must be able to cope with various of behaviors and day to day adjustments. Must function independently, have flexibility, person integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, family members, personnel, and support agencies. Sets up documentation flow sheets/and or electronic medical record system for daily documentation for unit managers measures for each residents in the program. Make quarterly progress note. Ensures all care notes are informative and descriptive of the treatment provided and of the residents response to the care. Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical health examination as a condition of employment. Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
