out of 5 stars 74 Claiborne Way, Starkville, MS 39759 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Assist in diagnostic evaluations and perform procedures such as gastric lavage when necessary. Provide care for patients with behavioral health needs and support their treatment plans. Engage in case management activities to coordinate patient care effectively. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients. Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, including hospice services when required. Provide specialized care for toddlers and assist in operating room (OR) procedures as needed. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of infection control practices. Experience in long-term care or hospice settings is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health principles is a plus. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and provide appropriate interventions. Skills in case management and patient education are highly desirable. Experience with electronic health records, particularly Epic, is advantageous. Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent interpersonal skills.
