As a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Flowood , you’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse set of responsibilities, including: Assisting with emergency preparedness and required safety drills Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical building to ensure that we are providing world-class accommodations. Hiring, evaluating, coordinating, motivating, monitoring performance, scheduling, and supervising department staff including housekeepers and an Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance Repairing physical structures and grounds and ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff by implementing procedures for preventative maintenance and repairs. Assisting with transportation of residents as needed Primary Responsibilities of the
Staff Nurse:
Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living. Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change. Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs. Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments. Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team
