Qualifications:
- + •At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse•+ Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association) •
Job Responsibilities:
- + Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately. + Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration. + Regularly monitor and record patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate. + Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures. + Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems. + Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. + Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery. + Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste. + Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary. + Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements. + Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements + Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner If interested, please apply through this job post.
