POSITION SUMMARY
The primarypurpose of your job isto assess resident’s needs, develop anindividualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursingcare and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in thedelivery of nursing care. Such supervision must be in accordancewith current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, andregulations that govern our community, and as may be required bythe Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that thehighest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Followsall health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintainsestablished standards of practice set forth by the community’sadministration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Education &Qualifications:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license topractice as a LPN within the state in which you work.
- Mustpossess a current CPR certification.
- Must be able to communicatein English and have theability to follow verbal and writteninstructions.
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carryout both verbal and written directions.
- Must possess anddemonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and community staff inthe performance of duties.
- Ability to observe proper safety andsanitary techniques.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based onthe requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose adirect threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred, butnot required.
Shift & Wage:
- Full-Time and Part-Time OpportunitiesAvailable
