Whyjust work when you can help shape a legacy? Responsibilities TheLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plans, coordinates, provides andmanages nursing care services and health education to nursing homeguests.
- Supervise the care/services provided by Certified NursingAssistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and otherteam members who care for guests.
- Provide safe and accuratemedication-related interventions to guests.
- Assess the health ofguests and notify the physician of changes in status. Promptlyimplement new orders.
- Select and institute appropriate nursinginterventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or preventcomplications.
- Contribute to the guest’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s)and the development of a plan of care. Qualifications
- 1-3 yearsof experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- CurrentLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
