What you will do:

• Therapeutic nursinginterventions under the supervision and direction of the RN fordaily care, tube feeds, dressing changes and more.
• Medicationadministration upon completion of medication course.
• Documentationusing the EPIC system.
• Collaborative team approach: withinterdisciplinary team of registered nurses, medical social work,care managers, nutrition, Rehab services, spiritual care andpharmacy.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures quality nursing care isrendered to all patients in accordance with the New York NursePractice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing andClinical Service standards of care and practice.
• Utilizing theNursing Process is involved in the provision of direct care ofpatients and families.

Education, Training, Experience, Certification andLicensure:

• Graduation from an accredited school for LicensedPractical Nursing and current licensure, or eligibility forlicensure, in the State of New York.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updatesand maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas ofexpertise.

• Clinical setting.

ExposureClass IPhysical Demands:

• Medium work: must be able to lift 25pounds frequently; occasionally lifting maximum of 50 pounds.

Pay Range:

$23.50 – $30.45Pay is based onexperience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the FairLabor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salaryequivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also varywithin the stated range based on location.
