- Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, includingblood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist in physicalexaminations and document findings accurately.
- Administermedications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Performvenipuncture for blood draws and other laboratory tests.
- Providesupport for patients undergoing gastric lavage or other medicalprocedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to developand implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safeenvironment in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Documentpatient information in electronic health records systems such asAthenahealth.
- Support patients in a Level II Trauma Centersetting, ensuring timely care during emergencies.
- Skills
- Proficient in patient care techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge ofsonography practices is a plus.
- Strong ability to performvenipuncture with precision.
- Experience in senior care settings ishighly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interacteffectively with patients and families.
- Ability to conductthorough physical examinations and recognize changes in patientconditions.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems,particularly Athenahealth.
- Understanding of emergency responseprotocols within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
