The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital supports theRegistered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting toprovide high-quality patient care. Working under close supervision,this role develops and implements hospital-based care plans andprepares equipment for procedures across the organization’shospital systems.
Talent Pool:
Nursing Supports the care team bycollecting patient history and medical information in order toprovide complete case documentation in hospital medicalrecords.
Assists in developing and implementing care plans asdirected by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to servepatient needs of those being treated in a hospital.
Ensures that theproper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordancewith Cone Health policies around sterile environments.
Communicateshealth care instructions to patients and families in order todeliver information in a clear way for the care plan.
Helps torespond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personalprotective equipment and hospital precautions to avoid patientharm.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma inPractical Nursing; Completion of Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)required within 4 years of hire.
EXPERIENCE
