Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia. With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services. It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care. Position Summary Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Participates in the assessment of patients.
Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development.
Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice.
Participates in Service Excellence Program. Minimum Requirements LPN Diploma
Active NC LPN License or compact state.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.
