POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of your job isto assessresidents needs, develop an individualized care plan, administernursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursingassistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state,and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern ourcommunity, and as may be required by the Director of NursingServices or designee to ensure that the highest degree of qualitycare is maintained at all times. Follows all health, sanitary andinfection control policies and maintains established standards ofpractice set forth by the community’s administration and NursingPolicies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
Must possess acurrent, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the statein which you work.
Must possess a current CPR certification.
Must beable to communicate in English and have theability to follow verbaland written instructions.
Must possess and demonstrate the abilityto carry out both verbal and written directions.
Must possess anddemonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention todetail.
Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and communitystaff in the performance of duties.
Ability to observe proper safetyand sanitary techniques.
Ability to work hours as scheduled based onthe requirements of the position/assignment.
Must not pose a directthreat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but notrequired.
