Position Summary:
As supervised anddelegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care topatients in accordance with applicable scope and standards ofpractice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of an RN,contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data foranalysis by an RN. Performs plan of care interventions, includingspecimen collection and wound care. Administers medication perscope of practice. Documents patient care given. Assists RN withdevelopment of plan of care. Assists patients with performingactivities of daily living, including personal hygiene,elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
