Responds to inquiry calls, conducts intake assessments, providesreferrals, and manages admissions per regulations andstandards. Performs comprehensive assessments, coordinates pre-certification,and ensures respectful patient care, safety, and appropriatereferrals. Communicates effectively with patients and families, consideringage, disability, and cultural needs. Requires active RN license, 1+ year experience in mental health orchemical dependency preferred, with skills in assessment,communication, and understanding of mental health and disabilitycare. Work environment is fast-paced, sometimes stressful, with exposureto odors and unpredictable behaviors, mostly inside protectedindoor settings.
