AmergisStaffing is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) to join our team at a psychiatric/mental health facility wecurrently have open in Greenville, NC.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensuring patients receive their prescribed medications on time and monitoring for any side effects + Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ mental health status + Observing patients for changes in behavior or condition and reporting these to a registered nurse or physician + Assisting with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care + Responding to psychiatric emergencies and using de-escalation techniques as needed
Qualifications:
+ Must be licensed for minimum 1 year + Must have some psychiatric/substance abuse experience + Must be able to attend orientation first week
M-F 8A-5P
(no call outs or late arrival allowed) + Must be able to follow red dot policy (stay up to 4 hours past shift•scheduled ahead of time) + Must be comfortable working in a psych/crisis/detox setting + Must be able to virtually interview AboutAmergis Staffing!
