POSITION SUMMARY

The primarypurpose of your job is to assess residents needs, develop anindividualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursingcare and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in thedelivery of nursing care. Such supervision must be in accordancewith current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, andregulations that govern our community, and as may be required bythe Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that thehighest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Followsall health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintainsestablished standards of practice set forth by the community’sadministration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education &Qualifications:

Must possess a current, unencumbered license topractice as a LPN within the state in which you work.

Must possess acurrent CPR certification.

Must be able to communicate in Englishand have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Mustpossess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal andwritten directions.

Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonalskills and attention to detail.

Ability to work with supervisors,co-workers and community staff in the performance of duties.

Abilityto observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.

Ability to workhours as scheduled based on the requirements of theposition/assignment.

Must not pose a direct threat to the health andsafety of others in the workplace.

Experience:

Previous experience inlong-term care preferred, but not required.
