Responsibilities:
Under the direction of aRegistered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse deliversefficient and effective nursing care while achieving positiveclinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. Evaluatepatients/residents to collect data, observe condition and reportchanges in condition. Contribute to nursing assessments and careplanning. Administer medications and performs treatments perphysician orders. Supervise and monitor patient care provided byunlicensed staff.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an approvedschool for practical or vocational nursing. Must be currentlylicensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensedpractical nurse licensure. Must maintain current BLS/CPRcertification if employed at a skilled nursing center or asrequired by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
