Responsibilities:

Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks; checks in patients, assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, prepares charts, and assists with medical examinations Help with medication phone calls work with physician on medication approvals Assesses patient status on admission to the preop area, the operating room and/or the post-op area, and on a continuing basis. Provides safe, therapeutic quality care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and nursing Ensures provision of patient care in an organized and timely manner. Takes part in pre and post-op phone calls and communicates any problems to the appropriate person. . Expertise in safety principles, asepsis, sterile technique and universal precautions. . Assesses, anticipates and implements appropriate care through out the office Qualifications

• LPN certification
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Experience in medical office settings
• Proficiency in medication administration
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to catheterize patients
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems
• Knowledge of patient care and assessment
• Experience with IV insertion
• Ability to work with patients in various care settings
