Provides medical care, first aid, and other health services withinthe scope of practice for licensure and in accordance withprotocols.
- Key Responsibilities
- Promotes safetyand health to all team members by educating team members onprotocols, injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness programs.
Collaborates cross-functionally to promote health programs andoccupational health compliance.
- Provides appropriate health evaluations and treatmentfor work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Performs drug and alcohol testingper policy.
- Assists with casemanagement strategies for work related injuries and illnesses.
- Participates in Incident investigations asnecessary.
- Serves as liaisonwith medical claims adjusters, medical providers, and/or counselfor workers’ compensation.
- Maintains accurate documentation and assists indepartmental medical records upkeep ensuring compliance withcompany policies and applicable regulations (i.e., HIPAA).
- Participates in Safety, Health Services, and HumanResources projects and initiatives, such as flu shot clinics,health screenings, stress management workshops, etc.
- Stays up to date with workplace safety regulations andhealthcare best practices to ensure compliance with local andfederal laws.
- -Minimum Qualifications (Educations &Experience)
- Current unrestricted RN or LPNlicense to practice nursing in hiring state (or compact licensurestate)
- Current certification inFirst Aid, CPR, and AED
- High schooldiploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ years of relevantexperience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed inthe role

- While performing theduties of this job, the employee may be regularly required tostand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands andfingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, andoccasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, distance vision, depthperception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- -Working Conditions
- Work will beperformed in a variety of conditions including remote work, aclimate-controlled office environment(s), and in a manufacturingplant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wetareas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions.
Thisposition requires the individual to wear and work in personalprotective equipment while in the manufacturing environment. Forremote work, the employee must have a dedicated workspace to safelysetup and use assigned IT equipment, preferably free fromdistractions. The employee is responsible for ensuring adequateinternet service is available when working remotely (therecommended minimum speed is 20mb download and 5mb upload).
- The noise level of the officeenvironment is usually moderate; the noise level in themanufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearingprotection.
