  • The Licensed Practical Nurse serves the patient, the physician andother staff members by assisting in the delivery of primary healthcare and patient care management.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment.

Take patienthistories and vital signs Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments andfollow policies and procedures Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries andphysicals Maintain the patient file, records and otherinformation Use nursing theory to guide patient care Perform selected nursing and administrative duties Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessaryinstruments Give injections and apply splints and dressings Maintain patient confidentiality Attend staff meetings as required Maintain strictest confidentiality Perform other duties as assigned

  • RequiredQualifications:

  • The hourly range for this role is $19.

86 to $38.85 per hour basedon full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors includingbut not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
