Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN),the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effectivenursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes andpatient/family satisfaction. Evaluate patients/residents to collectdata, observe condition and report changes in condition. Contributeto nursing assessments and care planning. Administer medicationsand performs treatments per physician orders. Supervise and monitorpatient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Qualifications:
Must bea graduate of an approved school for practical or vocationalnursing. Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursingor pending licensed practical nurse licensure. Must maintaincurrent BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursingcenter or as required by the state of practice if an assistedliving facility.
