$34.50-38.50/HRLPN/RN Duties ℜsponsibilities:
Accurately assesses, communicates, and documentsresidents’ status.
Observes and reports any significant changes inresident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director,physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per stateregulations.
Directs and supervises the daily work assignments ofthe Resident Care AssistantsClosely mentors, guides, and directsthe Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of theirjob.
Coordinates care needs with community providers via aneffective case management processEffectively balances servicedemands with supporting resident independence.
Recognizes andassists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation(financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per stateregulations.
Responds to emergencies and personal emergency responsesystem and knows when to call for backup.

LPN Requirements:
Current state license as an LPNor RN and CPR certificationGraduate of an approved LPN or RNprogram (per state requirements)Minimum of 1 to 2 years ofexperience working as a nurse preferred.
