He/Shecollaborates with employees, employers, members of the occupational health andsafety team and other professionals to: identify health and safety needs;prioritize interventions; develop and implement interventions and programs; andevaluate care and service delivery.

The LPN could work in Family Care, Ortho, or Internal Medicine.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the followingClinical and primary care including assessment,diagnosis, management and documentation of occupational and non-occupationalillness and injuryCase management for occupational andnon-occupational illnesses and injuriesHealth hazard assessment and surveillance ofemployee populations, workplaces and community groupsInvestigation, monitoring and analysis ofillness and injury episodes and trends, as well as methods to promote andprotect employee health and safetyCompliance with laws, regulations and standardsgoverning health and safety for employees and the environmentManagement and administration of occupationaland environmental health servicesHealth promotion and disease preventionstrategies using primary, secondary and tertiary principleCounseling, health education and trainingprograms using adult learning approachesResearch related to occupational andenvironmental health

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.

RequiredExperience:

1-2 years health care experience. RequiredOccupational and/or Employee Health experience preferred.

Required Skills:

Current NH LPN license. Required Certification in specialty area preferred. Breath Alcohol Technician Certification. PreferredExcellent communication skills both oral and written. Able to work independently and have good organizational skills.
