In this dynamic specialty setting, you’ll provide comprehensive care—including assessment, treatment, planning, and evaluation—while mentoring fellow clinical staff and supporting patients with respiratory and critical care needs. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working under the direction of practice providers, you’ll apply your knowledge across the lifespan to deliver age-appropriate care, build meaningful relationships with patients and families, and collaborate with a skilled healthcare team to improve outcomes and quality of life for those facing complex pulmonary conditions Education Minimum requirements: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Certification, Registration & Licensure Licensure required: New Hampshire Board of Nursing license Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers. Other professional certification as needed specific to the expectations of the position. Experience Minimum of two years’ prior clinical nursing experience required; medical practice/office experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi-disciplinary team, patients and others. Responsibilities Establishes priorities in organizing daily activities and maintains efficient patient flow. Triages patient phone calls following established guidelines and prescribed format for identifying patients’ health problems or concerns and providing quality patient care. Administers prescribed medications. Provides expert, comprehensive education to patients, families, caregivers, groups, and communities in response to identified patient needs. Documents health information, interventions, and outcomes into the patient electronic medical record. Delegates patient care activities using the five rights: right task, person, direction, circumstance, and supervision (ensuring the task has been completed satisfactorily and documentation is complete) and providing feedback to delegate and manager. Applies principles of purposeful, organized thinking based on the nursing process to make sound clinical judgment and decisions.
