Traveller Position Summary:

HCRC is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a medication-assisted treatment setting. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications, assessing patients, and collaborating with physicians and nursing supervisors to support individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD).

Key Responsibilities:

Administer daily prescribed medications per program protocols and medical guidelines. Operate and maintain automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and ensure proper functioning of dispensing equipment. Accurately document and maintain medication and treatment records in compliance with Federal and State regulations. Maintain security standards for the handling and storage of controlled substances (DEA & State compliance). Receive, stock, and manage medication inventory (if granted Power of Attorney). Provide daily patient assessments and support overall wellness. Assist in onboarding and training of new nursing staff. Support the nursing supervisor and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

Active LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire or Compact License

• Required Minimum 1 year of medication administration experience
• Required BLS certification
• Required Must be willing to float to the Newington, NH location
• Required Experience in Opioid Addiction Centers or OTPs
• Highly Preferred Skills Checklist and two supervisory references

Required Additional Details:

Candidates should be comfortable working in a non-judgmental environment supporting patients with opioid use disorders.
