Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use treatment.
Shift Options:
7:00am•7:00pm 7:00pm•7:00am
Pay:
$27.00•$33 /hour before differentials (based on experience)!
1st Shift differentials: Saturday and Sunday $1.50
2nd Shift differentials: (Monday•Friday) $1.00, Saturday and Sunday $2.00
3rd
Shift Differentials:
(Monday•Friday) $2.00, Saturday and Sunday $3.00

All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.

LPN Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
Medication administration
Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
Provide medication education to clients
Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Licensure, Education, & Experience:
Current LPN license in NJ
Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid
One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred
Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.
