Hourly Rate:
$32 Part time schedule Available Seeking tohire: Sat 11p-7a & Sun 7a-3p This is a fantastic role to continueyour nursing career path and work within a setting that offersvariety and rewarding challenges. You will have high-impact work byproviding nursing services, training, and supports to address themedical or psychiatric needs of individuals with a brain injury,intellectual and developmental disability, a substance usedisorder, and/or has an emotional or behavioral disability. Monitorthe health conditions of individuals served and ensure qualityservices are provided. Administer medications and providedocumentation as well as oversee and monitor staff members whoadminister medications. Provide prescribed medical treatment byphysician’s orders and personal care services. Conduct assessments,implement health care services to be included in each IndividualService Plan (ISP), and respond to changes of condition. Providetraining to staff members including universal precautions,infection control, and medication administration. Serve as liaisonand advocate with other medical and professional service providersas well as work with external agencies to coordinate services andensure consistent treatment of individuals receiving care. Providetraining for individuals served with topics includingself-medication, prescribed treatments, sex education/STDprevention, and smoking cessation.
Qualifications:
Associate’sDegree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate One yearof experience working with population served in a nursing capacityCurrent state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence Currentdriver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance Othercertifications as required by state licensing regulations such asCPR/FA and
HIV/AIDS
