Remote Family Nurse Practitioner Pay:

$74.87 an hr |

Bi-weekly Job Type:

Remote (Must be licensed in New Jersey) licenseis mandatory New York (NY) and North Carolina (NC) licenses are aplus

Shift Options:

PRN Shifts Shift times are between 6am-11pm -can be flexible based on half/partial shifts One 8 hour shift perweek (up to 40 hours if desired/volume permits) Two weekends (Sat &Sun) per 6 week cycle One on call day (or additional pick up) per 6week cycle One major holiday One minor holiday

Remote Family NursePractitioner Overview:

1. Patient-Centered Quality and Safety

  • Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitionalcare patients, in addition to providing healthcare education andcounseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging inage 18 months and above
  • Provide patient counseling; inclusive ofpregnancy prevention, STI Prevention/safer sex practices,contraceptive care counseling and medication management
  • Educatepatients on health maintenance and respond to patient careinquiries
  • Document all patient care within an EHR according toMinuteClinic policies and procedures
  • Provide care andcoordination of our patients with internal and external colleagues,including the broader patient centered medical home, ensuring thehighest standard of care is provided for all patients and at alltimes
  • Effectively work within a patient care team, includingfellow Providers, Collaborative Physicians, para-professionals,Pharmacists and other members of the health care team 2. CustomerService Excellence
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Seek toincrease patient engagement and satisfaction through integration offeedback from patients, management, and professional colleagues
  • Focuses consistently on the patient to create a warm and welcomingenvironment

  • Assist with hiring, development, and evaluation ofPractice employees
  • Complete necessary tasks for clinicoperations, including but not limited to taking inventory,following up on lab results, receiving incoming phone calls,ordering supplies and maintaining clinic cleanliness 4. BusinessAcumen
  • Remain accountable to managing business needs including,but not limited to, budget, payroll, inventory, billing insurance,and payment collection
  • Own the success of your practice throughimplementation of the clinic level business plan designed to meetidentified business goals
  • Assure complete and accurate paymentfor services through comprehensive documentation in the patientchart, verification of payment method (insurance, cash orcombination) for each visit, and collection of payment as directedby the EMR
  • Complete revenue cycle managements tasks includingcollecting payment at time of service for all visits and preparingnightly deposits. 5. Autonomy
  • Work independently , prioritize andsolve problems, take initiative, and advocate for their patientsand their practice
  • Actively participate in professionaldevelopment thru professional groups, committees within theorganization and/or additional external experiences
  • Maintain selfawareness and professionalism of individual actions and how theyimpact the clinic, practice, and healthcare industry
  • Continuingeducation, including what is required to maintain employment atMinute Clinic, is the responsibility of the provider.
Remote FamilyNurse Practitioner Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years ofmedically-relevant experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)certification
  • A minimum of high speed/broadband internetconnectivity with a download speed of at least 25 download and 3upload speed. Speed test not required on resume, but please ensurecandidate is aware of this requirement.
  • Must hold an unrestrictedlicense and have the ability to obtain multi state/ compactprivileges and licensure in noncompact states as required by thebusiness.

  • Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability andflexibility
  • Ability to work without direct supervision andpractice autonomously
