Bayonne, New Jersey Hours needed: Monday through Friday 3pm to 10pm

About Us:

1st Americare is seeking an RN or LPN to work with our clients in the Bayonne, NJ area as a home health nurse.

Job Summary:

As an RN/LPN in our home healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care during the night shift. You will work closely with the patient and their family, providing support and medical care in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s physician. Monitor the patient’s vital signs, manage medical equipment, and assess overall health status. Assist with activities of daily living and provide support with positioning. Collaborate with the patient’s family to ensure effective care and comfort. Document all care activities, observations, and changes in the patient’s condition accurately. Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or changes in the patient’s condition.

Qualifications:

Valid and active RN/LPN license in the state of New Jersey. Proven experience in home healthcare or working with wheelchair-bound patients is preferred. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. Flexibility to work overnight shifts as required.
