Ready to slow things down and focus on personalized, one-on-one care? 1st Americare is seeking a dependable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for an adult client in their home in Pompton Lakes, NJ. This weekend role offers consistency, calm, and the chance to truly connect—providing care where it’s needed most.

Role Highlights:

Follow a personalized care plan tailored to the client’s needs Assist with daily morning routines, hygiene, and mobility Monitor vital signs and administer medications as ordered Keep accurate clinical documentation Communicate regularly with the client’s family and care team

What You’ll Need:

A valid New Jersey RN or LPN license Home care or adult care experience is a plus (but not required) Strong assessment and observation skills Comfortable working independently and respectfully in a private home Must be available for both Saturday and Sunday shifts
