• Sunrise TeamMember At Sunrise, our Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed VocationalNurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing direct resident careand supervision of resident care work of non-licensed team membersin the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout thecommunity as appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Hours:

Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm Every other weekend:9:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality assurance andregulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of qualitycare and service
• Overseeing coordination of residents’ health andwellness needs
• Working closely with family members and consultingwith community physician(s) to ensure residents’ needs are beingattended to in a personalized way

Qualifications:

• Graduate ofapproved college/school of nursing
• Have a current state licenseas a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse
• A minimum of one (1) yearexperience in long term care, assisted living, skilled nursing,hospital, and/or full service operations
• Demonstrated knowledgeof nursing practices, techniques and methods as applied to skillednursing and resident care
• Demonstration of knowledge of federal,state and local long term care regulations
• Understanding of theResident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the Care Plan Process
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbalskills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational,time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problemsolving and decision making skills
• Proficiency in computerskills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the abilityto learn new applications
