Perform spinal taps and other necessary procedures while adhering to infection control protocols. Provide catheter care and support for patients with developmental disabilities. Respond to emergency situations promptly, utilizing emergency medicine skills when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Skills Proficient in primary care practices and patient assessment techniques. Strong ability in venipuncture and administering injections safely. Knowledgeable in family planning methods and patient education strategies. Experienced in infection control measures to ensure patient safety. Skilled in catheter care procedures for various patient needs. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
