Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with an adult patient in their home. This position would entail working with a patient who has a trach and ventilator. This position is 30 hours per week, at least one weekend shift per week, otherwise the dates are flexible. Hours are 9am – 6:30pm Pay starts at $40 an hour.

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice. Current TB or Chest X-Ray. Current BLS card. One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
