• Full TimePulmonary Office Work schedule: Monday
• Friday 8:00am
• 4:30pmAlbany, NY Under the direction of the attending physician, RN, LeadLPN or practice coordinator, the LPN will provide direct patientcare and assist in the following clinical functions to allproviders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains andaccurately record patient’s vital signs
• Documents components ofpatient’s history
• Communicates in an open and appropriate mannerwith patients, visitors and staff
• Participates in in-officeprocedures under the direction and supervision of a licensedhealthcare provider
• Performs diagnostic CLIA waived testing
• Performs venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing
• Prescription call-backs per scope of practice
• Preps patient’schart for pertinent clinical information
• Maintains inventory ofsupplies, and keeps patient examination rooms stocked
• Adheres toAMC’s regulatory compliance issues

Qualifications:

• High SchoolDiploma/G.E.D.
• required
• Previous experience in a patient caresetting
• preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond toquestions from physicians, patients and their family members orother employees within the work setting.
