Description Latham Medical Group is looking for an enthusiasticLPN to join their amazing team! This is a large family practicelocated in our new building Wellness Way. Monday-Friday no nightsor weekends. Open to part time hours. This position is eligible forup to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus
Responsibilities:
Administer and record vaccines. Document verbal conversations withpatients when appropriate. Document information into patient recordin an accurate, legible and timely manner. Maintain timely patientflow. Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based onoffice/provider requirements. Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood,etc.) from patients as directed by the provider. Accurate andtimely order entry into the lab system. Perform clinical officeprocedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer,medication administration and immunizations) Process patientprescriptions. Annual salary range:
$21.75 – $31.00 CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitivewith room for professional and financial growth. Individualcompensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate,such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles mayalso be eligible for overtime pay. Requirements Valid NYS LPN license. PreviousLPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as aMedical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. Strong computer skills withexperience using EMR. Knowledge of basic nursing principles andprotocols. Knowledge of policies and procedures related toinfection control, environmental safety, and patientconfidentiality. Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records. Skill in appropriateassessment and assistance techniques.
