Description Latham Internal Medicine is looking for a Full TimeLPN to join their team! This is a 40-hour week.
The hours are:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is eligible for up to a$3,500 recruitment and retention bonus
Responsibilities:
Administerand record vaccines. Document verbal conversations with patientswhen appropriate. Document information into patient record in anaccurate, legible and timely manner. Maintain timely patient flow.
Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/providerrequirements. Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) frompatients as directed by the provider. Accurate and timely orderentry into the lab system. Perform clinical office procedures asdirected by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medicationadministration and immunizations) Process patient prescriptions.

Annual salary range:
$21.75 -$31.00 CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with roomfor professional and financial growth. Requirements Valid NYS LPN license. PreviousLPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as aMedical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. Strong computer skills withexperience using EMR. Knowledge of basic nursing principles andprotocols. Knowledge of policies and procedures related toinfection control, environmental safety, and patientconfidentiality. Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records. Skill in appropriateassessment and assistance techniques.
