46Under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN orpractice coordinator, the LPN will provide direct patient care andassist in the following clinical functions to all providersEssential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain and accurately recordpatient’s vital signs Documents components of patient’s historyCommunicates in an open and appropriate manner with patients,visitors and staff Participates in in-office procedures under thedirection and supervision of a licensed healthcare providerPerforms diagnostic CLIA waived testing Performs venipuncture toobtain blood for lab testing Prescription call-backs per scope ofpractice Preps patient’s chart for pertinent clinical informationMaintains inventory of supplies, and keeps patient examinationrooms stocked Adheres to AMC’s regulatory compliance issuesQualifications High School Diploma/G.E.D.
