Full Job Description Title:

LPN / LVN

(Travel Nurse)

Rochester, NY Contract Length:

13

Weeks Shift:

12-Hour Nights (Straight Nights Only)

Schedule:

Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and medical providers Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervising nurse or physician Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely Collect samples (blood, urine, etc.) and perform basic diagnostic procedures Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and discharge preparation

Requirements:

Active LPN/LVN license in the state of New York or compact state (if applicable) Must be able to independently take and manage a full patient assignment AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory) Ability and willingness to float to other MS/Tele units as needed If floated to ICU or ER, duties limited to caring for Med-Surg level patients or assisting staff
