Job Description:

Job Summary The LPN provides care to patients in accordance withtheir developmental needs, following the standards of theDepartment of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy andprocedure. Core Job Responsibilities Perform complete assessmentdata collection, under the supervision of an RN and / or provider,on all patients Assess and reassess pain. Educates the patient andfamily regarding pain management Observe and identify adversechanges in patient condition and notifies appropriate RN and / orprovider Maintains current knowledge of medications and theircorrect administration Interacts professionally with patient andfamily. Involves patient and family in patient education. Cleansand operates equipment correctly Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements Licensure/CertificationRequirements

REQUIRED

Current New York State Practical NursingRegistration.
