Hiring Pediatric LPN Female Only WED-THU (7AM-11PM) & SAT(3PM-11PM) in Long Island City NY Divine Home Care Agency, Inc. Long Island City, NY 11101 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including those with complex medical needs. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions while ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Provide care for patients with dementia and memory care needs. Assist in gastric lavage procedures when necessary.

Skills:

Trach care, Suctioning care, Catheter care, Tube feeding care. Perform triage duties to prioritize patient care effectively. Support patients with disabilities by providing appropriate assistance and care. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in pediatric intensive care or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its application in patient care. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
