Job Description Description/n Family Practice Averill Park islooking for a Full Time LPN to join their team! /n This is a40-hour week.

The hours are:

Monday

• Thursday 8:15
• 5:30. Friday8:15
• 1:15.

/n This position is eligible for up to a $3,500recruitment and retention bonus /n

Responsibilities:

/n /n

• Administer and record vaccines. /n
• Document verbal conversationswith patients when appropriate. /n
• Document information intopatient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner. /n
• Maintain timely patient flow. /n
• Prepare patient for visit asappropriate, based on office/provider requirements. /n
• Obtainspecimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed bythe provider. /n
• Accurate and timely order entry into the labsystem. /n
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by theprovider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration andimmunizations) /n
• Process patient prescriptions. /n
• Discusstest results with patients per provider’s instructions.

• Valid NYS LPNlicense. /n
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice orprior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. /n
• Strong computer skills with experience using EMR. /n
• Knowledge ofbasic nursing principles and protocols. /n
• Knowledge of policiesand procedures related to infection control, environmental safety,and patient confidentiality. /n
• Maintain strictestconfidentiality and discretion. /n
• Knowledge of medical chartreporting/records. /n
• Skill in appropriate assessment andassistance techniques.
