- 5:00, South Clinic Campus isconveniently located at 25 Hackett Blvd.
Albany. The Division ofEndocrinology is located at Albany Medical Center’s South ClinicalCampus. Our division has 18 providers, certified diabeteseducators, endocrinology fellows and other trainees who rotatethrough the outpatient offices. Diseases such as Diabetes, ThyroidDisorders, Osteoporosis, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome aretreated in our clinic. Our division also has specialty clinics suchas Lipids, Transgender and Clinical Nutrition. Under the directionof the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator,the LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in thefollowing clinical functions to all providers.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities include:
Obtains and accurately record patient’svital signs Documents components of patient’s history Communicatesin an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staffParticipates in in-office procedures under the direction andsupervision of a licensed healthcare provider Performs diagnosticCLIA waived testing Performs venipuncture to obtain blood for labtesting Prescription call-backs per scope of practice Prepspatient’s chart for pertinent clinical information Maintainsinventory of supplies, and keeps patient examination rooms stockedAdheres to AMC’s regulatory compliance issues
Qualifications:
HighSchool Diploma/G.E.D.

- State Licensure Upon Hire
- required Previous experience in apatient care setting
