Job Description Description/n Latham Medical Group is lookingfor an enthusiastic LPN to join their amazing team! This is a largefamily practice located in our new building Wellness Way.

Monday-Friday no nights or weekends. Open to part time hours. /nThis position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment andretention bonus /n

Responsibilities:

/n /n

• Administer and recordvaccines. /n
• Document verbal conversations with patients whenappropriate. /n
• Document information into patient record in anaccurate, legible and timely manner. /n
• Maintain timely patientflow. /n
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based onoffice/provider requirements. /n
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine,blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider. /n
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system. /n
• Performclinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT,EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations) /n
• Process patient prescriptions. /n
• Discuss test results withpatients per provider’s instructions.

• Valid NYS LPNlicense. /n
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice orprior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. /n
• Strong computer skills with experience using EMR. /n
• Knowledge ofbasic nursing principles and protocols. /n
• Knowledge of policiesand procedures related to infection control, environmental safety,and patient confidentiality. /n
• Maintain strictestconfidentiality and discretion. /n
• Knowledge of medical chartreporting/records. /n
• Skill in appropriate assessment andassistance techniques.
