LPN License, BLS Certification Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort across diverse clinical settings such as clinics, long-term care facilities, or home health.
Key Responsibilities Monitor Patient Health:
Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations), observe patient status, and report significant changes to supervising staff.
Administer Medications & Treatments:
Deliver medications (oral, injectable, topical), perform wound care, assist with IV therapy according to facility policies.
Support Daily Living Activities:
Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Collect Specimens & Monitor Treatments:
Draw blood, urine, or tissue samples; monitor IV lines and oxygen therapy equipment as needed. indeed.com
Maintain Documentation:
Keep accurate and confidential records of treatments, patient responses, and care activities in electronic medical records or charting systems.
Educate Patients & Families:
Explain care plans, medication instructions, disease management, and help them with self-care strategies. Collaborate with
Care Team:
Coordinate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Ensure Safety & Policy Compliance:
