Job Description Job Description Health Advocates Network iscurrently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facilityin Gettysburg, PA. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate:

$34 / hour

  • W2
Shifts Available:
  • 7: 00A-3: 00P
  • 3:00P-11: 00P
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least one year (12months) of previous working experience as a Licensed PracticalNurse
  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of PA
  • Avalid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Abilityto build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registerednurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments anddocument findings accurately.
  • Administer medications asprescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation ofmedication administration.
  • Regularly monitor and recordpatients’vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate,temperature, and respiration rate.
  • Assist with wound care,dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.
  • Ensure accurate andtimely documentation of patient information, progress, andassessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or otherdesignated systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals,including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of theinterdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive careplans.
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcareprocedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions topromote effective self-management and recovery.
  • Followestablished infection control protocols, including proper handhygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safedisposal of medical waste.
  • Act swiftly and effectively duringemergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention andalerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Participate inquality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to bestpractices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintainscompliance and complies with annual requirements
