Our Urology outpatient practice isseeking a motivated and energetic LPN to join our dedicated team ofhealthcare providers! The Division of Urology is one of the busiestpractice sites in the Albany Med System. There are currently 12Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Practitioners in the Practice.

We are located in 3 sites which include Clifton Park, Schenectadyand our Main Site in Albany at the Albany Medical Center SouthClinical Campus on Hackett Boulevard. The Practice performs severalin-office procedures which many staff seem to enjoy as it keepsthem moving and always learning and teaching. Under the directionof the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator,the LPN will provide direct patient care and assist in thefollowing clinical functions to all providers.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities include:

• Obtain and accurately record patient’svital signs
• Documents components of patient’s history
• Communicates in an open and appropriate manner with patients,visitors and staff
• Participates in in-office procedures under thedirection and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
• Performs diagnostic CLIA waived testing
• Prescription call-backsper scope of practice
• Preps patient’s chart for pertinentclinical information
• Maintains inventory of supplies, and keepspatient examination rooms stocked
• Adheres to AMC’s regulatorycompliance issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma orequivalent is required
• Current NYS licensure as LicensedPractical Nurse
• Previous experience in a patient care settingpreferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary range: $24.50/hr.
