Job Description:
Snug Harbor Rehabilitation & Recovery is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in our detox and residential programs. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients throughout their treatment journey. We are actively seeking a nurse to work 7P – 7
A Responsibilities:
Conduct initial nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of clients in both detox and residential programs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and overall health status of clients Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide education and support to clients regarding medication management, health promotion, and self-care strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and client progress Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice and patient care
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to client care Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices preferred
