SUMMARY:

At Aaron’s Acres’ summer camp, participants aged 5 to 21 bring with them a diverse array of abilities. For those with more complex medical requirements, a private nurse will accompany them to ensure their needs are met while they enjoy their time at camp. The hourly Summer Camp Nurse (RN or LPN) is $23 per hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Medication disbursement, monitoring heat conditions, after care for seizures, g-tube feeds, first aide Maintaining and updating medical forms. Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by the Aaron’s Acres administrative team, including safety protocols for participants, volunteers, and staff. Participate in all mandatory staff meetings.

CAMP DATES:

(Flexible with sessions) Session 1: June 16

• June 27 Session 2: July 7
• July 18 Session 3: July 21
• August 1 Ability to work all 3 summer sessions (6 weeks total) OR will consider candidates who can work 1 or 2 sessions (2 weeks per session)

CAMP SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30pm

BONUS INCENTIVES

Provided Summer Camp Nurses have completed their contracted summer employment, qualifying incentive(s) will be paid on or before September 1st. $250 for returning staff $650 all day, two sessions $1000 all day, three sessions Requirements
