Local LPN|| $43/hr MTK Technologies 1008 Thompson Street, Jersey Shore, PA 17740 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the well-being of patients in various medical settings. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal Assist with medical procedures such as gastric lavage, ophthalmology exams, pain management, laboratory tests, and spinal taps Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance as needed Qualifications Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse Proficient in providing patient care in medical-surgical, emergency medicine, and other healthcare settings Knowledge of various medical procedures including gastric lavage, ophthalmology exams, pain management, laboratory tests, and spinal taps Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
