LPN $41/hr to $42/hr 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Jersey Shore, PA 17740 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist in various medical procedures, and support the nursing staff in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. This role is essential for ensuring that patients receive the best possible care in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care needed. Administer IV infusions and assist with acute pain management protocols. Operate neonatal ventilators and provide care for newborns as needed. Perform laboratory tests and manage patient samples accurately. Assist with aliment management, ensuring patients receive appropriate nutrition and hydration. Utilize Athenahealth software for patient documentation and record-keeping. Provide primary care support, including routine check-ups and monitoring of vital signs. Manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs for patients, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Assist in dialysis procedures as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Qualifications Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in triage, IV infusion, and acute pain management preferred. Familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus. Proficient in laboratory procedures and patient sample handling. Strong knowledge of aliment management practices. Experience using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
