The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home community care environments. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients’ health and well-being while collaborating with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Provide catheter care and support for patients requiring specialized medical attention. Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving the facility. Educate patients and their families on health management, including basic life support techniques. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting to provide optimal patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to assess patient conditions effectively. Proficiency in DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage and management. Experience with sonography techniques is preferred but not required. Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate medical recordkeeping. Ability to provide infant care with sensitivity and expertise. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
